Why We Rise
American democracy is under assault — and the people are paying the price.
Our government finds billions to fund bombs, military interventions, and the detention and deportation of our neighbors, yet claims there’s nothing left for the communities that need it most. No relief for skyrocketing housing costs. No real investment in healthcare or education. No help as families struggle under the weight of rising gas, food, and electricity bills.
That is not leadership. That is a choice — and we reject it.
Convicted felon Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the Republicans in Congress are dismantling our institutions, eroding our freedoms, and pushing a theocratic, authoritarian agenda that serves the wealthy and powerful few. Nearly 80% of people living in this country did not vote for this. And we will not be governed as if we did.
Here’s what they don’t want you to know: We are not powerless.
What We Stand For
We are here to champion freedom over fascism — full stop.
That means holding leaders accountable when they spend public money on destruction instead of on the people who need it. It means demanding housing, healthcare, education, and economic relief as non-negotiable rights. It means protecting every community from racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, sexism, ageism, ableism, sizeism, transphobia, misogynoir, elitism, and every form of bigotry used to divide and distract us.
We believe in justice, inclusion, equality, and power from the bottom up — not trickle-down crumbs from the top.

People Power United is a fearless, grassroots movement — community-powered, heart-driven, and people-led.
We are the builders of a new future. We show up, speak out, and organize — not for clicks, not for profit, but for people. Every daily action, every urgent campaign, every bold strategy we run is designed to challenge the status quo and put democracy back in the hands of the many.
