📢 A Visual Guide to Real Leadership: How a President Should Protect Our Communities—Not Attack Them
🗽A visual guide showing how real presidential leadership protects communities, defends democracy, and tackles real threats—not attacks Americans.
The Oath
The Oath represents the solemn duty to protect the people and the Constitution of the United States of America—not to attack our cities, states, universities, doctors, nurses, scientists, activists, nonprofits, politicians, late-night hosts, or federal workers who are simply doing their jobs.

The People
The people of the United States come from every corner of the globe and reflect a wide range of ages, skin colors, incomes, religions, pronouns, and ethnic backgrounds. The President must serve and support all who call America home—not just those with power, privilege, or wealth.
The Peacemaker
A true leader looks beyond party lines and brings people together to confront the challenges we face in America and abroad.

Global Allies
Great leaders know that America’s safety and security rely on strong global alliances. Undermining NATO or the UN—by ridiculing mutual defense agreements, weakening historic partnerships, and jeopardizing the security of the free world—does not serve the United States. True leaders build trust; cowards tear it down like authoritarian bullies.

Protect, Don’t Punish
When a governor or mayor calls for federal help, that’s when a president must step in as a partner—not a dictator. Presidents have no business steamrolling states, seizing their resources, or hijacking their leadership. If Washington can just trample state authority at will, then why even bother having states at all?

The Threats
The real threats to America are not in Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, or at Harvard. They are not immigrants who have lived here peacefully for years, nor our transgender neighbors. The true danger is failed leadership that ignores climate disasters that flood our towns, burn our forests, and tear apart our coasts. It is crushing inequality that leaves families unable to afford housing, healthcare, food, or education—and the epidemic of gun violence terrorizing our neighborhoods. It is hackers and hostile regimes attacking our elections and power grids, nuclear powers destabilizing peace, deadly diseases and pandemics that cripple lives and economies, and violent extremists turning hate into bloodshed. These are the storms we face. These are the fires we must put out. And these are the battles a real president must lead—not imaginary wars against cities, students, scientists, immigrants, or communities struggling to survive.
The People Demand Better
When leaders escape accountability, it signals that power—not justice—rules, eroding trust, fueling corruption, and opening the door to authoritarianism. Billionaire-backed justices and elites aren’t serving the people—they’re scheming to suppress our voices, strip away our rights, and rule over us. But progress and power to the people is more than an idea; it’s a movement. By standing up, speaking out, and demanding dignity, opportunity, and justice for all, we can build an America that truly lives up to its promise.

America Has No Kings—And We’re Rising to Prove It
Donald Trump wants to crown himself above the people. He floods our streets with masked agents, terrorizes immigrant families, and orders arrests without warrants. He schemes to hijack elections, shreds our healthcare and education, guts protections for our environment, and turns his back while gun violence tears apart our schools and neighborhoods. All the while, he lines the pockets of his billionaire friends as families struggle to make ends meet.
But here’s the truth: Trump is not a king. He never will be. America is not his to seize—it belongs to us. And every time he tries to tighten his grip, we rise stronger.
On October 18th, we are rising. From coast to coast, communities will rise to send one message loud and clear: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. We are millions strong, the true majority, and we will not bow to dictatorship. Find your event here.
“NO KINGS“ isn’t just a slogan—it’s a rally cry. Born in rallies, carried on banners, shouted from city streets to rural town squares, it’s a declaration of defiance. It’s a promise to defend one another, to stand up for democracy, to protect our freedoms from those who would tear them down.
When Trump sends troops to silence dissent, when he threatens to erase our votes, when he treats our lives like bargaining chips for his billionaire donors—we will not be silent. We will not be ruled. We will not surrender our future.
Every time he tries to crush our rights, our movement grows. We are united, energized, and unstoppable. Because we know what Trump fears most: the power belongs to the people.
On October 18th, we rise together. Join us in the streets. Join us online. Join us to defend democracy itself.
Because this is our country.
Because we are the majority.
Because America has no kings.
Because power belongs to the people.

A core principle of all No Kings events is nonviolent action. Participants are expected to de-escalate conflicts, act lawfully, and never bring weapons—legal or otherwise.
Please note that when People Power United uses the word “fight” in writing, online, or in speech, we mean to advocate fiercely, never to incite or support violence. We do not condone violence in any form, nor do we promote breaking the law.
Our work is rooted in peaceful advocacy through exercising our constitutional rights: voting, free speech, peaceful assembly, rallies, protests, and acts of civil disobedience. We use these tools to defend our rights, freedoms, the rule of law, and our democracy. And together, we will win.
Together, we can protect and empower those we love, champion our rights, freedoms, and democracy, hold our leaders accountable to the people’s will, and inspire voters to make a meaningful difference.
