🗽A well informed citizenry is the best defense against tyranny. Throughout history, Americans have faced corruption, injustice, and authoritarian overreach. And every time, we fought back.

I know these feel like perilous times—but I also see this moment in history as a great opportunity.
This is our moment to rise for an America that truly lives up to the promise of “liberty and justice for all”—not just for the wealthy and powerful. The strength of people power is unstoppable. Together, we can and will make a difference.
We’re already seeing that strength ignite across the country. From the May Day marches to the first No Kings day of action… from crowds in Washington, D.C. rejecting a federal takeover… to everyday neighbors calling out the masked ICE kidnappings carried out without warrants or due process—the people are rising.
Every day, we face a choice: stay silent and be complicit, or speak out and refuse to obey. And across America, people are choosing to rise—resisting against the dictator-style power grabs of a 34-time convicted felon Trump who may be called President but is not a leader and the laziest, most complicit Republican Congress in memory.
Now is the time to keep showing up, keep speaking out, and keep building the power that will stop tyranny before it takes hold. Because if we fail to act, we risk surrendering the freedoms that generations fought to secure.
Let’s rise together—louder, stronger, and more united than ever.
Here’s How We Stand Up to Fascism
Hope, respect, and unity are powerful weapons against fascism, countering its fear, hatred, and division with light, dignity, and solidarity. Hope fuels action and resilience, reminding us that change is possible when we come together with courage. Respect dismantles the dehumanization that authoritarianism feeds on, honoring every person’s worth and strengthening democracy through empathy and inclusion. Unity breaks the divide-and-conquer tactics of fascist regimes, forging a collective force that amplifies our voices and protects the rights of all. Together, these values create a society where love, justice, and freedom overpower fear, proving that the power of the people is stronger than any attempt to oppress it.
This is our moment to rise up for an America that includes everyone when we say "liberty and justice for all," not just the wealthy and powerful.
Donald Trump wants to crown himself above the people—flooding our streets with masked agents, terrorizing our families, ordering arrests without warrants, and scheming to hijack elections. He shreds Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, healthcare, education, guts environmental protections, affordable housing, and turns his back while gun violence devastates our schools and neighborhoods, all while lining the pockets of his billionaire friends as families struggle to survive. But Trump is not a king. He never will be. America is not his to seize—it belongs to us. Every time he tries to tighten his grip, we rise stronger.
We can do great things as long as we are united in purpose.
Right now, that purpose is to educate and empower everyone in our community so they can vote and thrive. We have to elect leaders at the local, state, and federal level who represent the will of the people. And we have to do the work to hold them accountable.
The day we give up, the day we make excuses, the day we let leaders hide in their offices and cook up ways to fleece hardworking Americans and our families is the day we fall to tyranny. And that day is not today!
