End Racial Discrimination and Protect Liberty and Justice for All
May we honor Freedom Day with truth, action, accountability, and a renewed commitment to liberty and justice for all.
Friends, tomorrow is Juneteenth, and I wanted to bump this for your inbox.
Can you take 1 (one) minute to do a quick and easy action? We’re sending a letter to elected leaders in Congress and State Houses to strengthen civil rights protections and:
Protect and expand voting rights so every voice is heard, and every vote counts.
End racial profiling and unequal treatment in policing, courts, housing, education, employment, health care, and public services.
Protect honest education about slavery, Reconstruction, civil rights, and the ongoing struggle for equality.
Invest in communities harmed by generations of discrimination so every person has a fair chance to thrive.
Hold institutions accountable when they allow racism, discrimination, or unequal treatment to continue.
May we honor Freedom Day with truth, action, accountability, and a renewed commitment to liberty and justice for all.
We will have more on Juneteenth tomorrow, but in closing, check out this awesome photo of Former President Barack Obama at the opening of his library today in Chicago.
Thanks for taking action!!
