In America, no matter our color, background or zip code, we value our freedoms. Together, we can realize a democracy that represents, reflects, and responds to all of us. If you are still hesitant, now is the time to speak up and take action. Every day, we have a choice: stay silent or stand up for freedom. No matter your situation, we all have a voice to use. Our People Power United group offers simple ways to make a difference, like writing letters and signing petitions, sending letters and postcards to voters, and holding our leaders accountable to the will of the people.
Wealth inequality is a national and global threat
Let's be clear: no one is advocating against small businesses or profits. We are advocating against three people in the U.S. having the same wealth as 50 percent of the U.S. population and continuing to hoard resources, pay lower taxes than most folks, and use their wealth to fund a takeover of the Supreme Court or Congress.Â
