Hey friends—Yesterday, I cautioned that August would be crazy. Scratch that—this week will be bonkers. Why? Because Trump wants to distract from a failing economy (unless you’re a billionaire), accountability for the Epstein case, and his broken promise to stop the Russia/Ukraine war.
August is already delivering chaos, cruelty, and calculated power grabs. If you thought 34-time convicted felon President—but not a leader—Donald Trump would slip quietly back into the White House, think again.
Today’s headlines prove what we already know: this administration thrives on force, intimidation, and erasing accountability. But here’s the truth: we are united, ready, and determined to defend our communities against every fascist power grab.
📌 The Hill (2025) – A Senate Democrat warns that Trump is “playing dictator” and pushing our democracy to the brink. This isn’t politics as usual—it’s an authoritarian power grab.
📌 The Washington Post (2025) – A peace vigil has sat near the White House for decades. Now, a congressman wants it gone—a disturbing sign of how dissent and free expression are under attack.
📌 The Guardian (2025) – Trump is spreading false narratives about crime in D.C., just as he did with Los Angeles, using fear as a political weapon instead of addressing real issues.
These aren’t random headlines. They are part of an authoritarian playbook we’ve seen before. Trump didn’t win because a majority of the country wanted him—nearly 80% of people who call America home did not vote for him or for the complicit Republican extremists in Congress who are dismantling our democracy to serve the powerful few.
Trump scraped his way back to power through the BIG LIE, and now he’s wielding that power to silence dissent, punish the vulnerable, and shield corruption from public view.
