The movement should be called more of a teaching of morals and values. And why we support them..
It’s not realistic to boycott oil companies until America has enough renewable energy to depend on. It’s irresponsible to allow America to go energy deficit. We need to draw away from fossil fuels, and that time is coming, but it isn’t now.
And trying to reduce rent in New York City is a misnomer. Too many people want to live here, there’s not enough housing, and in our society that means, the market dictates. Affordable housing where people don’t want to live, won’t work. An affordable housing where people don’t want it won’t happen.
We lost our chance for a super majority in the midterms. It was a very slight chance anyway. We needed Tump voters to change their vote. And that’s happening. And it could’ve possibly been, but the GOP will use Mamdani as an example, that will turn off many independent voters, and of course GOP. But I think we can hope with the anti-Trump fervor at least keep the house.
But we’re stuck with The Thing. It’s gonna be a long ride.
But Bernie and the far left gave him an opening. And that’s where we are..
