America, our freedoms are under attack

America, our freedoms are under attack. Extremist white Christian nationalists are advancing a radical agenda that threatens to undo decades of progress, dignity, and civil rights. They want to erase the line between church and state, forcing their beliefs into our laws, our classrooms, our bodies, and our homes.

"White Christian nationalists believe the US was founded as a Christian nation, although the Constitution never mentions God and enshrines the separation of church and state. Its adherents twist biblical language to justify violence, sexism and hostility toward people of color.” ^¹

They cloak cruelty in religion. However, the Constitution—the true foundation of this country—explicitly separates church and state. Our democracy was never meant to be a theocracy. And we must reject this dangerous distortion of faith and freedom.

Let’s be clear about their goals:

• Force us to give birth

• Tell us who we can love

• Stop us from voting

• Ban the books we read

• Price gouge our families

• Terrorize communities with lax gun laws

• Take our Social Security and Medicare

• Criminalize poverty, homelessness, and immigration

• Steal our identity through surveillance and repression

• Pollute our water and air for profit

• Prioritize weapons of war over our well-being

• Embolden a few corrupt members of the Supreme Court and 34-time convicted felon President

All of this is codified in Project 2025—a radical blueprint designed by Christian nationalist extremists and being used by Trump and Republicans in Congress to move our nation towards a theocracy. In fact, we are all ready seeing parts of this plan implemented.

Completed or in the works:

• Trans people barred from the military and stripped of healthcare

• Diversity, equity, and inclusion removed from all federal policies

• The Fair Housing Act repealed

• LGBTQ+ rights and protections erased

• Biblical definitions of marriage written into law

• Pornography banned

• Capital punishment promoted

• Same-sex marriage would be outlawed

• No-fault divorce eliminated

This is not democracy—it’s domination.

And let’s not forget: Donald Trump may have clawed his way back into power, but nearly 80% of us did not vote for him. He does not speak for the majority. He never has.

The people of this country are far more powerful than a handful of extremists propped up by billionaire donors and a compromised Supreme Court.

The rise of white Christian nationalism is dangerous—but it is not unstoppable.

We can resist. We must resist.

We’re building a people-powered movement—fueled by truth, love, and a fierce commitment to justice. One that fights for abortion access, racial equity, LGBTQIA+ rights, economic fairness, environmental protection, and the freedom to live and love without fear.

In this community, we refuse to stay silent in the face of hate. We will speak out, show up, and stand together to protect one another and defend the future we deserve.

This is our country. This is our fight. And we will not back down.

We are organizing to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would finally codify the right to abortion into federal law and protect families from extremist politicians.

We are building a people-powered movement to elect leaders who represent our will, not religious extremists or corrupt billionaires.
