Remember that proximity to oil & gas development is associated with serious ill health including leukemia and solid cancers in children. One more reason to leave it in the ground.

Both parties have had their noses in Big Oil's butt-crack for as long as oil has been a big deal, and the total subsidies and tax breaks are embarrassing to contemplate as they made record profits year after year. Trump, the perfectly amoral greediest person on earth, will happily throw tax payer money at the infrastructure problem in Venezuela, whether it's a hundred billion or two hundred billion, as long as his cut is paid on time!

If federal money is being spent illegally, eg without Congressional approval, the States can put their citizens' federal tax payments in a State escrow account. See Chris Armitage, Soft SEcession, the Existentialist Republic.

No taxpayer dollars for big oil in Venezuela. No taxpayer dollars to acquire Greenland. Even though Trump has difficulty with geography and map reading, trump says we must have Greenland or Russia or China will and Russia and China will no be our neighbor. Look at your globe or world map and the whole world can see that Greenland is not our neighbor, but Russia already is.

No tax dollars for ICE, for the ballroom, for rumps family business…why are we paying for this bullshit, while families are losing their health insurance, child care and food?
