No Paywalls. No PAC Money. Just People Power.
Friends, I have some great news to share: People Power United is growing by leaps and bounds.
Every day, more people are finding this community and connecting with our commitment to freedom over fear, progress, accountability, and power to the people. That growth tells me something important: people are looking for a place where they can stay informed, speak out, show up, and build power together.
As we welcome so many new folks, I wanted to share a few things about how People Power United works.
We do zero fundraising.
We do not take PAC money or money from special-interest groups. We are powered by people.
I don’t know about you, but I am exhausted by the flood of texts and emails constantly asking for money. At People Power United, our focus is on the work: sharing the news, creating actions, connecting people with opportunities to get involved, and helping our community stay engaged.
We have zero paywalls.
Our news, actions, resources, and organizing information are open and accessible to everyone. Occasionally, a live chat may be limited to paid subscribers, but even most of those are open to the entire community.
We believe important information should be available whether someone has $5 to spare or not.
We generally send one People Power United newsletter each day.
That goes out by email and through the Substack app. Our Notes are different. Those are quick updates, breaking developments, reminders, actions, and community conversations that we share throughout the day. If you want more between newsletters, check the Notes tab on Substack.
And yes, we cover a lot.
If it touches our rights, freedoms, democracy, accountability, progress, or people power, chances are we are paying attention.
You can also go deeper by subscribing to the newsletters that cover the issues you care about most. Some publish weekly, while others publish two to three times a week.
