People Power takes on antisemitism, islamophobia, and xenophobia
We must denounce antisemitism, islamophobia, and xenophobia every opportunity we can.
And we must fiercely advocate for free speech and debate.
I'm not too fond of the hateful rhetoric we are hearing from radical Republicans, crazed conservatives, and maga cultists, but I will always defend their freedom of speech. I am also saddened by the public conversations happening around Israel and Palestine. I want to think that we can all agree that there is no world peace unless the hostages have been returned to Israel and the killing of innocent people in Gaza stops.
My job as a mom, community member, and American is to use debate and persuasion to impact the conversations around me.
I am not cocky to think I have the answers to what is happening in our world, but I have a voice, and I will continue to use it. As the photo says, "I need to tell my daughter I did not stay silent."
I hope you will join me in reminding our lawmakers to go on record and publicly denounce antisemitism, islamophobia, and xenophobia and advocate for the return of hostages and an immediate stop to the killing of innocent people in Gaza.

Exactly...and we need to stop supporting violent actions just so we can have political influence everywhere.
I take people as they are, and believe we all should. No one knows more about another's life, than themselves. I certainly don't have all the answers, and try to avoid foisting my ideas onto someone else. Therefore, I am TOTALLY against antisemitism, islamophobia, xenophobia, anti-LBGTQ+, etc. However, I DO know evil when I see it and call out those who foster evil in speech and actions. This is why I joined People Power United---to fight evil wherever it raises its ugliness.
