At People Power United, we believe everyone deserves access to reliable information and the power to hold our leaders accountable to the will of the people. That’s why we have zero paywalls, do zero fundraising, and remain fiercely independent.
And I’m not going to lie. It’s hard work! But knowing we’re reaching people where they are, helping communities stay informed, and empowering everyday people to make a difference makes every bit of it worthwhile.
And the best part? We’re doing it without wealthy donors, corporate interests, or anyone pulling strings behind the scenes.

Friends, here’s something worth remembering: The people in power are supposed to answer to us. Not the other way around.
I’m really proud of all of us who never give up, keep working hard to hold our leaders accountable to the will of the people, and continue to have hope in our collective power.
Our tax dollars are not blank checks. Public office is not a personal kingdom. And freedom of speech is not a privilege granted only to those who agree with the people in charge.
We have every right to know where our money goes, why decisions are being made, and who benefits. We have every right to demand transparency, challenge injustice, and stand beside our neighbors when their rights are threatened.
That is what accountability looks like. And that is how democracy stays alive.
We do not need permission to ask questions. We do not owe anyone our silence. And we will not be intimidated into looking away.
So keep speaking out. Keep demanding receipts. Keep standing up for one another.
Because democracy belongs to the people, and power should always answer to us.
Freedom over fascism. Progress over fear. Power to the people!

I joined the Evict Ice organization here in Buffalo, NY. They hold weekly rallies in front of the building where ICE is located. We are voicing to the owners of the building that ICE needs to be evicted. I want to become more involved with this group.
I attended the NO KINGS rally on Saturday. When I was walking back to my car, I was carrying my sign and this woman dressed in a frou frou coat walking her frou frou dog and had a young child walking beside her. She gave me such a look of disgust and pulled her coat closer to her. I wanted to step in front of her and say Jesus loves you but I continued walking. So what is this woman demonstrating to the youngster walking with her? What is she telling those around her? That the average American is disgusting especially those who oppose Trump? But it's okay for Trump to behave like a bully and call people names? What kind of an example is this setting for our young? Instead of wasting time on hating, I choose to follow the true Jesus and join organizations where I can help others.
