Americans did not consent to war on our own soil. A people-powered call to reject authoritarian violence, defend democracy, and demand accountability.
Hey there! Today, I’m opening with a powerful statement by LCG, before we reflect on the good news and progress the resistance made in 2025.
Alright, I’m saying this as an Australian who is absolutely sick to death of watching the world hold its breath every time this blabbering blubbering blithering blustering baffoon opens his grotesque mouth.
You see folks, as far as I can tell, from the outside, this is what it looks like: America has elected a man who talks and behaves like a megalomaniac, and the rest of the planet is supposed to just trust that he won’t completely lose his grip on reality and drag us all into catastrophe.
You want to steal Greenland.
You want Cuba to “make a deal before it’s too late”.
You talk about bombing or invading Mexico.
You kidnap a President and knock off the peoples oil in Venezuela.
You joke about annexing Canada like it should be a shopping centre car park you can just claim because you feel like it.
Do you have any idea how insane that sounds to the rest of us?
This isn’t tough talk. This isn’t strategy. This is a deeply unstable old man threatening sovereign nations like he’s flipping over a Monopoly board because he’s losing. This is not normal behaviour. This is not leadership. This is not strength. This is a walking, talking international crisis.
And Americans, this is where it comes back to you. Not just MAGA, not just the people who voted for him, all of you. Because when the President of the United States starts talking about kidnapping leaders, annexing countries, and issuing ultimatums like a mob boss, the rest of the world doesn’t get a vote. We just get the consequences.
You don’t get to shrug and say, “Well I didn’t vote for him.” That might fly at a dinner party, but it doesn’t fly when nuclear powers are watching this circus and recalculating their own red lines. This is your system. Your presidency. Your responsibility.
From the outside, it looks like America lit the fuse and then wandered off while everyone else stands around the bomb wondering who’s going to cut the wire.
And let’s be brutally honest. This man is nearly 80. He’s frail. He’s clearly deteriorating. He is not some long term visionary playing chess. He’s at the end of his lifespan and acting like nothing matters after him. That is the most dangerous type of leader there is. A man with nothing to lose and an ego that demands constant feeding.
Why should the rest of the world pay for that?
Why should families in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, anywhere, have to worry about war, trade collapse, energy shocks, or global instability because America couldn’t get its own house in order?
This is not about left or right anymore. This is about basic sanity. This is about stopping a psychopath before he does something irreversible. Because once a war starts, once a country gets invaded, once alliances fracture beyond repair, you don’t get a reset button.
So yes, this falls on Americans. You got the world into this mess, and you damn well better roll your sleeves up and get us out of it. Impeach him. Remove him. Contain him. Do whatever your system allows, but do it fast.
Because the rest of us just want to live our lives, raise our families, pay our bills, and not wake up one morning to find out World War Three started because an unhinged old man wanted to feel powerful one last time.
This isn’t funny anymore.
It isn’t theatrical.
It isn’t tolerable.

Good News and Progress from the Resistance
Friends, my apologies for delay in sending this—I had hoped to share this during the first week of January, but the pace of the news had other plans. Here is our annual recap.
✨ What We Built Together in 2025
In 2025, People Power United proved—once again—that when everyday people come together with courage, compassion, and determination, real power is unleashed.
This was a year of extraordinary growth, bold action, and collective impact. Together, we welcomed 203,000 new members into our people-powered movement and added more than 100,000 new subscribers to our newsletter—each one a reminder that hope spreads faster than fear.
We didn’t just grow—we organized.
People Power United hosted over 100 events, creating spaces for connection, learning, and action nationwide. Our largest event, Rapid Response for Our Freedoms, brought together an incredible 40,000 signups, showing the nation what organized people power looks like in real time. And past programs like Postcards to Voters and Take Action Tuesdays each mobilized 5,000+ participants, turning shared values into tangible action.
Across all our campaigns, hundreds of thousands of actions were taken—calls made, letters sent, petitions signed, and voices raised for democracy, dignity, and justice. Our message reached far and wide, with millions of views across all social platforms, amplifying people-powered truth in a noisy world.
And the momentum keeps building: 179,000 total event signups to date, fueled by volunteers and everyday people who refuse to give up on progress.

The Americans that are getting your feathers ruffled, and being defensive to other nations about us as a collective: Knock it off!!!
We are responsible. We didn't do enough to prevent the 2nd term, even though I don't believe he really won. We weren't in the streets and fighting during round 1. We have allowed the Democrats to sit back. They are fat cat dinosaurs collecting dividends and selling million dollar book deals and we either vote for them lazily or not vote at all. We should have all voted, been civically proactive before 2016. If America actually knew wtf was going on in the world and world history, we wouldn't be here today. Look, myself included, and I consider myself an educated activist and look at issues globally, not just locally, but I failed by not accepting we were vulnerable and weak enough for this to happen.
Remember this is not a trumpstein issue. It's the extreme conservative movement that has been in the works since Ronald Reagan. This is a planned coup by the most powerful and anonymous (somewhat) group of oligarchs in the world. The creation of Faux was the beginning of public influence. They played the long game until their boy arrived. The hitler-wanna-be that possessed that perfect combination of nasty charm and expert grifting skills honed over a lifetime of pathological lies upon lies. He is a conman bullshitter and a racist psychopathic predator that fed the ignorant, disillusioned and repressed workers of America. The general public is not intelligent to grasp the concepts of how the economy has become corporate-centered as opposed to a worker- centered economy that existed after the Great Depression. When we focused on the worker's needs and building out from there, everyone (white) prospered and minorities benefitted as well. Unions were strong and protections were put in place. It just wasn't good enough for the greedy. Profits over people. Keep the CEOs happy and it will trickle down. No it won't.
At the same time $ in politics became the deciding vote. Do you not think republicans know what's going on? It is their actions, we allowed unwittingly, that created the mess we are now in (democrats too). They've been quietly observed and information gathered. Epstein is 1 of probably many ugly, dirty crim8nal conspriracies that has been happening since the 80's. We keep electing them, and they keep playing. Now they are paying for it and so are we.
I've been screaming what was going to happen since 2016, but I didnt actually do shit until 23. The biggest part of the population didnt even vote. My son at 30 said, "I don't care. I won't vote. Nothing will change." Now at 35 he is freaking the f out! Things changed alright. We have to accept responsibility. We won't survive to change anything, if we don't. The world leaned on us and we took it for granted.
Enough about what we did wrong. We must get loud and refuse to accept the fate of failure and the end of the USA. Loud resistance and quiet subterfuge. Sacrifice and determination. We must not cower in fear or give in to abject depression. Don't hide from this. Let's each pick an action of resistance & run with it. We show up at rallies and protests. We befriend a family of immigrants or join a club to share the message. There are lists of great ways to protect ourselves from canisters and other gases used by ICE. Talk to your family members. Argue at the dinner table. Don't avoid politics anymore. We must resist. Further isolation from our allies will not help anyone. So be gracious and humble. We haven't been either.
