🗽A well informed citizenry is the best defense against tyranny. Throughout history, Americans have faced corruption, injustice, and authoritarian overreach. And every time, we fought back.
I'm lucky to live in an area served by what has been judged to be the best VA hospital in the country, and so far they have not changed, at least, not on the surface. This VA has actually saved my life at least twice, and it pains me that their kind of quality care is being taken away from other vets.
I really like this piece. I think it is important that if we are going to spend a kings ransom on defense, we should take care of the brave men and women (and their families) who are working every day to keep us safe.

I served my country for 27 years in the United States AirForce. I think this action is BS of the highest order. For Trump, of all people, to try to make this decision for veterans when he was a draft dodging COWARD is sick.
I grew up in the USAF. My mother died when I was 5 & she was 29. And bc my Dad had to care for my brother & me, he couldn't go to war. Because he didn't serve in war he was denied healthcare at the end of his life & it bankrupted him & stole anything he wanted to leave to us. I HATE the military for this .....................
