Judge Blocks National Parks From Removing āNegativeā Signs
A federal judge ruled against the Trump administration in a case involving the nationās parks, marking a win for public lands and environmental protections. The decision reinforces that even the administration must follow the law when it comes to protecting national treasures that belong to the people. NY Times
Trumpās name removed from Kennedy Center after court rulings
Workers removed Trumpās name from the Kennedy Center faƧade after a federal judge ruled it had been illegally added and last-minute appeals failed. The decision restored the buildingās name as the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts, a reminder that public institutions belong to the peopleānot one manās ego. The Guardian

The House approved a war powers resolution aimed at halting Trumpās continued military action against Iran unless Congress authorizes it. The bipartisan vote is a powerful reminder that no president should be allowed to drag the country into an open-ended war without the consent of the peopleās representatives. About 2,000 SoFi Stadium workers reached a tentative deal that includes wage increases, anti-subcontracting protections, and safeguards tied to immigration raids at the worksite. It is a strong labor-rights win because workers secured concrete gains right before one of the worldās biggest sporting events. AP News

Judge strikes down Trump policy that halted asylum decisions for 39 countries
A federal judge ruled that policies freezing decisions on asylum, work permits, green cards, and citizenship applications for people from 39 countries were unlawful. It is a major immigration win because the court said the government cannot leave people in legal limbo based on national origin. PBS News

People Power United members believe change is possible because we have seen ordinary people rise, organize, and be a force for progress. Real change does not come from waiting politely, staying quiet, or hoping those in power suddenly grow a conscience. It comes when people speak out, show up, and demand actionābecause our communities and families cannot wait, and every moment we delay gives injustice more room to tighten its grip on our communities.
Together, we can defend our rights, freedoms, the rule of law, and democracy, hold leaders accountable to the peopleās will, and inspire voters to make a meaningful difference.
