Resist & Rising Together Weekly: Good News and Progress from the Resistance
Each week, Resist & Rising Together Weekly by People Power United shares stories of courage, creativity, and collective power from people pushing back against fascism and building a better future. While authoritarians try to divide and silence us, we rise—community by community, action by action—to defend democracy, demand justice, and celebrate progress. From victories in the courts and wins for workers to breakthroughs in climate action and moments of solidarity, this movement reminds the world that power in America belongs to the people, not to kings, billionaires, or authoritarians.
Because resistance isn’t just about fighting back—it’s about moving forward. Together, we are writing the story of progress, one act of people power at a time.
Today, we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of the American people—those rising together to reject tyranny and defend our democracy.

Great newsletter today, but the most pressing thing mentioned is also the one that will get the least attention: Water! All the steps mentioned are good, but the tech to cheaply desalinate water and assure an unending supply is probably the most important research and development we can be doing. There are lots of desalination plants, all over the world, but the cost is high in most cases.
We each can do a lot to bring about change in our country and world.
- Sign petitions
- Keep your job secure and donate to your favorite charities
- Voice yourself on social media
- Vote in every election you are eligible and help elect leaders that care about broader groups of people
- Get educated about issues and make yourself more inclusive of everyone that is less well-off than you
It is our generation's responsibility to hand an easier, more equitable world to our next generation. Let's make this happen.
