Signing a few petitions feels like mere drops of water, but knowing I'm a drop in a vast ocean of people genuinely gives me hope. Together, humanity will eventually reach a better world - although I think we also really need a concrete battle plan for dealing with humanity's racism and bigotry.
I love the optimism, but I somehow doubt that Good triumphs - in the same way that we easily notice bad service at a restaurant or whatever and so rarely notice good service, Good is mostly under the radar and just trying to do its job.
