Stop Trump’s War on Clean Energy
Trump and MAGA Republicans are sabotaging clean energy, threatening jobs, raising costs, and putting fossil fuel billionaires before families, workers, and our future.

Trump’s war on clean energy is not about “energy dominance.” It is about domination: domination of our air, our public lands, our household budgets, and our future by fossil fuel billionaires who want one more generation of profits while families pay the price.
Clean energy means more than solar panels and wind turbines. It means lower energy bills, cleaner air for our children, safer communities, new jobs, and a future that is not chained to oil spills, poisoned water, extreme heat, and corporate greed. It means putting people before polluters.
But Trump and MAGA Republicans are trying to drag America backward. His administration has moved to freeze or cancel clean-energy funding approved by Congress, and Reuters reported that a federal judge had to block the administration from freezing billions in climate and infrastructure grants.1 The Energy Department also announced the termination of 321 financial awards supporting 223 projects, totaling about $7.56 billion. 2
That is not leadership. That is sabotage.
At the same time, Trump has attacked offshore wind while other nations build the industries of the future. The Trump administration has also hindered offshore wind development, revoked federal offshore wind leases, and stopped major East Coast projects, even though offshore wind has brought billions in investment and supports thousands of jobs. 3
This is what corruption looks like in real time: punish clean energy, reward polluters, weaken protections, and pretend the public asked for it.
We did not ask for dirtier air. We did not ask for higher bills. We did not ask for our children to inherit a country where billionaires get tax breaks while families get floods, fires, asthma, and economic insecurity. And we sure did not ask for a government that treats clean-energy workers like collateral damage in a political war.
Clean energy is freedom. Freedom from fossil fuel price spikes. Freedom from polluted neighborhoods. Freedom from the lie that America must choose between good jobs and a livable planet. We can have both. We must demand both.
Congress needs to hear from us now. Tell them to stop Trump’s war on clean energy, protect clean-energy investments, defend workers, and put people before polluters.
