I have long been interested in solar, but I'm wondering where batteries come into play. You see, I drive an all electric Nissan Leaf and was feeling good about it until someone made a comment about lithium mining. I have since become aware of the fact that lithium mining---which plays into many tech products, including electric car batteries---very often happens on land that belongs to, or land that affects the lives of, indigenous people. That's just not right.

Hi! You have a good program. However, at the present I am dealing with a contractor who I employed to install a home solar panel electrical system in May, 2024, paying $18,500 up front, only to be ghosted by them subsequently and then being given lame excuses for their lack of any action whatsoever, as well as no response to my request for a refund. They are Powerhouse Fulfilment of Oroville, California and have subsequently had their contractor's license suspended. I appealed to the State Contractors License Board for arbitration, only to be told that I lacked sufficient evidence for them to make a ruling, so am now in discussion with a local attorney for a civil action against these scoundrels. Be aware there are bad actors out there and persons like myself need to be very cautious about investing in a home solar power electrical system without sufficient assurances that they are not dealing with what is essentially a criminal enterprise.

PS. The growing prevalence of "security codes" is obnoxious.
