This connection between environment and health (or sickness) can't be overstated. Most cancer starts in our environment because of contaminants, pollutants, and a lack of proper, nutritious whole foods. Food isn't as nutritious as it was during our grandparents' or great-grandparents' lifetimes.
we need to support farmers' transition to regenerative farming - incorporating animals into the landscape, diversify crops, teach them how to manage their landscape more like Mother Nature. Vandana Shiva in India, Masanobu Fukuoka in Japan (now deceased and his family sadly did not continue the work he detailed in One Straw Revolution), and many others worldwide have improved their soil and the nutrition of their food.
