At pivotal moments in history, the American people have come together to confront corruption, injustice, and authoritarian overreach—and this is one of those moments. Donald Trump and his Republican enablers are abusing power for personal gain, undermining democracy, and pushing dangerous policies that silence dissent. They want us divided, afraid, and obedient. But we know better. We know the power of coming together.

That’s why on July 17th, five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, People Power United is joining over 1,000 events nationwide to honor his legacy and Make Good Trouble Together. Coined by Lewis, “Good Trouble” means nonviolent action that challenges injustice—marches, protests, service, or simply standing up for what’s right. From fighting voter suppression to defending immigrant families, Good Trouble is how we rise. This isn’t just a virtual rally. It’s a moral stand. It’s a movement. Will you join us and carry the torch? Let’s rise, speak truth to power, and show the world that Good Trouble lives on.

While Trump’s corruption is corrosive and his allies’ complicity is cowardly, none of it can overpower a determined people who remember where real power lives—in our hands.
