🗽Together, we can champion our rights, freedoms, rule of law, democracy, hold our leaders accountable to the people's will, and inspire voters to make a meaningful difference.
Laurie- I am ashamed that you would cause such division and damage to our Money Out of Politics movement that we (as grassroots, non-paid volunteers!) have been working so diligently on building.
Your defaming blast to other organizations was absolutely uncalled for, especially since you didn't even speak with our organization before saying that we are "rogue actors" and "based in a non-democratic country". Well guess what- My name's Jaime, I'm a volunteer in Virginia, and outside of MOP, I am a registered X-ray Technologist. I have personally met the founding members and can confirm they are US based, and have the public interest at heart. The only way we are rogue is of the status quo. WE WANT CHANGE!
From the veterans, grassroots volunteers, and medical personnel in MOP- we won't allow you to defame us anymore.
This isn't the first time you've done this to an organization. When will your supporters hold you accountable, and see your actions- not just your nice words.
You talk bout "togetherness" and "uniting". Your posts signal all the right virtues, but when other orgs reach out for coalition-buding you trash-talk them.
Money out of Politics is nothing that you've portrayed them as. Your refusal to retract your smears has not gone unnoticed and has done more harm to your stated goals and the goals of all democracy-loving Americans.
Your performative activism is more harmful than anything. It's not even the first time.
Your inability to place your own ego aside, realize that together through coalitions is our only way to victory, and reluctance to even respond makes you look like a maga troll.
Chicago. Protested with Sr. Citizens today. It was amazing to see them lead and participate in the small, yet vocal resistance. Most of them were those who protested and/or serve during the Vietnam War era. It was an inspiration to listen to their voices and create “Good Trouble” with posters, chants and action. ♥️
Hi, I didn't know who or where to comment, but in your petitions today-- the one about Palantir immigration roundups--07/17/25.--the letter was all greyed out. I sent it anyway. I compared it with other letters in petitions, and those aren't. That being said, I'm using high contrast as I'm visually impaired, but you might want to check this out. Thanks.
