No War with Iran: Stop an unauthorized weeks-long bombing campaign. Demand War Powers, protect troops and civilians, and choose diplomacy.
Friends, America is being pushed toward another catastrophic Middle East war, without a clear strategy, without honest debate, and without Congress authorizing it. Reporting indicates the U.S. has rapidly surged air power and other military assets into the region at levels comparable to the buildup before the 2003 Iraq invasion. That is not "routine posture." That is the architecture of Trump's escalation, who holds the title of President but is not a leader.
A "weeks-long" bombing campaign, especially one launched unilaterally, doesn't stay limited. It invites retaliation, raises the risk to U.S. troops and civilians, and can spiral into a wider regional conflict that no one can control. The consequences wouldn't be abstract: it would mean grieving families, destabilized communities across the Middle East, and a new generation living with the trauma and blowback of a war that never needed to happen.
And let's be clear about the constitutional crisis: a unilateral war is an imperial power grab. The President is not a king. If one person can launch sustained hostilities against Iran on their own, then checks and balances become a slogan instead of a safeguard. That's why lawmakers are moving toward a War Powers vote to prevent unauthorized strikes and force Congress to do its job before any attack proceeds.
We've seen how fast "pressure" turns into "regime change" talk. Trump has publicly mused about regime change in Iran. At the same time, the administration sends more major firepower into the region—including an additional aircraft carrier—creating the conditions for war rather than diplomacy. This isn't strength; it's a dangerous gamble with other people's lives.
Meanwhile, families at home are still struggling with health care costs, rent, groceries, and an economy that needs investment—not more open-ended military spending. Every dollar burned on missiles is a dollar not spent on schools, hospitals, disaster response, and the basics people need to thrive.
If you want peace, if you want accountability, this is the moment to act. Tell Congress: pass a War Powers Resolution, block unauthorized strikes, and demand diplomacy over destruction. No blank checks. No "weeks-long" bombing campaign. No forever war. Take action now: No War with Iran
