Target Congress not trump. The congressional stalemates enable the president to act. Congress was elected by the people. Force your representative to do their job or be recalled. The power to act is being handed to the only person that will act - by default.

Thank you so much for what you do to raise awareness of the issues we face and providing us with tools to take appropriate actions!!! I always feel encouraged that my voice counts and I feel an obligation to do my part to bring about the change I want to see.

There's one coal-fired plant in my state (Wa) and the coal seam that they had been mining there was finally exhausted. The plant owners decided to convert to natural gas, but the Trump admin demanded that they continue to burn coal for another 90 days (and apparently can renew these 90 day commands). The coal is coming from Wyoming & Montana. The natural gas pipeline is available locally, but the company has NO CHOICE in this matter. This is far worse than simply calling winners and losers.. it's micro-managing private business to suit its own biases (and maybe involves promises to the "coal industry"). I'll be watching to see what happens in 90 days. ^..^

Anything related to Trump - Follow the Money. He and his billionaire buddies can NEVER get enough. He is and has always been a money grubber. He has NO clue how regular people live. He would get lost in a grocery store and couldn't find a thing unless his handlers showed him where things are.

Not a commercial promotion, but I installed solar panels in April and my total energy spending from April 20 to December 20 was 34% lower this year than the same period the year before. Not clear what the payback period will be on the solar panels, but the higher the cost of natural gas, the bigger the savings will be going forward. It works better in the spring/summer (longer days) but solar panels offer some liberation from all this.
