People power starts with the Constitution. On Constitution Day, we honor “We the People,” voting rights, democracy, and our generation’s duty to carry America’s unfinished promise forward.
How can we wait after what this country has gone thru in the past 250 years. A broken system that needs a clear majority at this point to stand up and say we're not going down this path any longer . Yes we have that clear majority!
What will it take to get rid of this criminality that permeates both political parties? What do we have to do to get all of the justice organizations singing together on the same page? Time to transform a broken democracy that is literally begging to come out of its chrysalis and take multicultural, multiracial, gender preference,and bottom up economic parity flight for all.
Here is a plan that can have a significant effect. There is too much unknowns so lets give this country a big known. People Power United Should be all over this!!!
What is currently stopping us from organizing a legal and peaceful occupation of Washington, D.C.? We should remember Occupy Wall Street; while they didn't finish the job, they gained the nation's attention. With the middle and lower classes forming a clear majority against a small number of wealthy elites, now is the time to act. It is time to move beyond one-day events like "No Kings" and organize a non-violent occupation of the capital with hundreds of thousands of people.
My specific suggestions for this "Rock the Boat" occupation are:
- Public Prosecution: Publicly denounce and prosecute this regime on paper, countering their rhetoric against the left while maintaining a constant presence in the public eye.
- Congressional Engagement: Bring in progressive activists from Congress all parties to speak and maintain a core group of at least 100,000 attendees.
- Bottom-Up Reconstruction: Use the time in D.C. to rebuild a society on paper that works from the bottom up, uniting economic, racial, multicultural, and social justice groups to repair the system.
- Digital Integration: Utilize electronics and cell phones to allow nationwide participation.
- Media Impact: Capture the daily news cycle to create a blueprint for the next American Revolution, making it impossible for the old corporate structure to remain in power.
The sad fact is; at least half of Americans have very little or no idea what the constitution says, or what it stands for! Ask the average person on the street what a particular amendment says and you're as likely as not to get a reply of: "Whut's an amendment?" This is one of the biggest reasons the fascists have been able to make such big gains in power.
I can not stop thinking this Trump war in the Middle East became another Trump plan to limit voter participation! Much like shutting down pollig places in poorer neighborhoods works for the elite Republican's in previous elections. Raising the cost of fuel simply to get to the polls makes it difficult for the less wealthy to make decisions that could impact their immediate survival over their long term survival. Attempting to fight off the fascists by playing the political game Republicans use to win (Money in political campaigns) fails, since Democrats are the party of the less rich! Roosevelt Democrats flooded the ballot box by representing their base, not by playing politics by the same rules that work for Republicans!
While I agree about the tactics in regards to voting, I think the bigger reason for the war is to take focus off the Epstein files. Wrong! This has just made more people aware and are fighting harder than ever. Katie Phang has brought a lawsuit against Todd Blanche to release the Epstein files. Right now the judge in the case is on Katie's side and is becoming increasingly irritated with Todd Blanche's tactics which are just to bamboozle and delay.
Mis-direction for the general public certainly is at play as this has always been a tactic in the Trump toolbox. Considering the stupid things he has been doing that show complete incompedence, anything to distract from his ignorance, works! His ineptitude at most things and grabbing at straws that could only make everybody's life harder (other than himself and his rich buddies) works for him! His corruption of traditional and legal concepts of personal gain as President! (Oil scarcity only brings higher prices for less oil means more wealth to him, his "Mafia" family and those who hold majority interests in oil! We lose and he continues to win at our expense, a complete violation of his oath of office, yet he gets away with it!
We are the people God has chosen and calls each one of us “His Beloved” and continues to love us unconditionally.
So let us :
again put our trust in God, not guns, wars, millionaires. Let us remember Micah’s words “Live justly, Love tenderly and walk humbly with your God.
Let’d pray these words every day and in love, joy and peace with one another in this beautiful USA and with all our neighbors to welcome them as well to our table.

I am a true Jesus follower but I believe in standing up for those who can't fight for themselves. I am an election official and I will do everything I can to make sure people get out to vote. We cannot be quiet against what is happening.
I agree that we don’t just sit idly and do nothing. I belong to the Dominican Sisters of Peace and I agree with everything you said. It is so good to hear you believe in Jesus Christ and that you will do everything you can to help people get out to vote, yet we cannot force people. As God gave us the gift of freedom. We need more respectful writing in our world today. It is so competitive and divided. We need to start with prayer and a loving trust in God. It is God’s work and we listen for His Spirit to tell us what to say or do.

Organize & Boycott our government, bring it to its knees, No work, school or shopping, then demand, you will abide by our constitutional laws, no more foreign interventions (NONE), absolutely no more foreign aid, absolutely no AIPAC, any of those who had received AIPAC money must resign at the end of their term. Absolutely no Land own by foreigners, No media can be owned by foreign countries. No more military bases outside the US borders and cut back its budget to 1980 at 500 Billion. Then a complete audit for possible further cuts. The government belongs and works for the people, it's not the other way around people, We have aloud this charade to go on for far too long.
America needs free press and free enterprise to maintain real "freedom'. Thank you for providing part of that promise and helping us to stay united. Our current administration tries to divide us and take away the entities that keep us in groups. Unions, organizations, churches and clubs that celebrate traditions, nationalities and diversity are under scrutiny (if not attack) for allowing people to unity to share their common heritage and enjoyments (sorry, couldn't think of a proper word here). Thank you for the relief valve to vent and express what some may think but not say aloud.
