The Supreme Court’s decision to gut a core protection of the Voting Rights Act is a direct assault on the promise of “liberty and justice for all,” making it harder for disenfranchised and voters of color to challenge discriminatory maps.
But this is not the end of the story, because the people still have the power to protect voting rights, stop racial gerrymandering, and defend fair representation.
I know there is a lot going on right now, so we are giving you some quick and impactful actions to take for our rights, freedoms, rule of law, and democracy.
